Company

Newport Risk Services is a provider of management consulting services to the insurance industry and alternative risk market.

The company was founded in 2005 by Andrew Berry, with the goal of improving the performance of the property casualty insurance industry. To do this we have focused our efforts on the components of the insurance value chain to improve the products and services delivered to the industry's customers and to generate greater returns for the participants in the chain. We specialize in the alternative market where the strong connection between insured and insurer has the potential to create powerful, efficient insurance solutions.

Our business is founded on three core strengths. These are combined to create a unique blend of consulting capabilities within the insurance industry.

Industry experience: we are insurance practitioners with deep knowledge of and experience within the industry. We are committed to the insurance industry and personally vested in the outcome of our consulting studies.
Entrepreneurship: we are trained in entrepreneurship and we have practical experience in the founding, financing and running of start-up ventures. We understand the dedication and focus required for successful entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial activities.
Consulting experience: we have many years experience operating in the consulting field. We draw upon proven consulting methodologies as well as developing new innovative solutions to address our clients problems.

Newport Risk Services maintains relationships with a network of independent consultants and with specialist consulting firms in the industry. This allows us to staff projects with individuals most experienced in the technical areas being addressed.
